The Den

It must be something in the water.

Less than a year ago Peter and Kari brought us Deva Ras. I had all three of them over for dinner last night (bbq pork loin with raspberry chipotle sauce, grilled asperagus and eggplant, roasted new potatoes and lentil salad). Deva's reaching that stage of becoming a little human - very interactive, talking, smiling, and giggling at everything. She'll be walking in a month or two then there'll be no stopping her. I have a few pics of her over in the Friends album of my photo gallery. She's SOOO cute!

Then, about 2 weeks ago, my friends Natalie and Drew brought us another beautiful little girl named Sophia.   I haven't yet heard back from them (so I don't even know her name yet!)  but I'm sure they're now very busy parents.  As soon as I can see them I'll update this.

And, this past Tuesday Mel and BJ brought forth Logan Lily Star Zod Baker Rigney, who you can see at BJ's Flickr acct .

It seems this trend is hitting the whole of the northwest, and not just the SF Bay Area!  Friends Laura and Chris Fowler in Seattle recently had Stephen Dwyer Fowler and are no doubt entralled with losing their social lives :-)  And - also in Seattle - Nic and Kristin will be offspringing within the next month!

Wow, with all this procreation goin on, maybe I'll get to be 'Uncle Chris' to more than just my niece Bethany !
