The Den

I know  - its been like nearly a month, rather than the week I 'd promised. Fortunately when I make non-blogging promises to individuals, I'm much better at keeping them!

So.. Disneyworld. As I said in the last post, the place is HUGE - 47 square miles, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks and 20+ resorts, a shopping area, a full highway & bus system and tens of thousands of employees.  We we there for a week (well, 5 full days & six nights) and we didn't come close to seeing everything. Sure we could have rushed around and made sure to get it all in, but that would have contributed to the unpleasantness I'd feared from the start.  

Here's a summary of the major events of the week:

Wed: Magic Kingdom Adventureland & Frontierland, "Hawaiian Luau" dinner at the Polyenesian resort
Thu: Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland & Fantasyland, Princess dinner at the Grand Floridian
Fri: Animal Kingdom, dinner at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney
Sat: Magic Kindom for the afternoon, 'Character dinner' (Pooh, et al) at the Crysal Palace, 'Pirates & Princesses Party' into the night.
Sun: Epcot, German buffet for lunch, early evening at the room.
